Kids. It may seem wierd and quite a bit early, but I want some. I know I'm not ready for them. Oh boy, do I know that! But as I read blogs and look at pictures and see all the joy in children- well, it makes me jealous. I want some of my own. Siblings are wonders, and sightings of cousins are few and far between- too much so. But what happens when I have my own child- always there, always huggable- and maybe sometimes sighted too often. It sounds wonderful to my young, inexperienced ears- children. Of my own.
Oh, I know it will be awhile. I'm rather glad of it. But oh, for the days when my Blog is full of pictures of my children- oh, for those days. I'm excited.

Over the Top
The most remarkable thing happened today- I could see the temple from the Tebernacle steps! It's not the prettiest thing yet, just a type of a frame for a part of it- but you can SEE it! Just that simple fact made me smile so wide my lips cracked, (my chapstick was accidentally stolen,) and I rode my bike home with not so much as a huff or puff or any sort of pain in my underworked legs.

Hmmm.
Nothing to say, really. I want to listen to Jon Schmidt... no, I take it back. I want to play Jon Schmidt. But for heavens' sake, I don't have the sheet music and I can't learn by ear because I've lost my Mp3. Hmmm.
Stuck, I guess.
Stuck, I guess.

Oh, the bittersweet end...
Phantom is over. The best play I have ever been a part of... something I was there for through harsh weather and sickness, drama and... well, drama...
We all cried. It was a phenomenal experience, something I can never hope to duplicate, and already I miss it. Well, I guess this afternoon is set. I'll go to Swing, maybe. Then I'll come home already bored again, and maybe I'll call somebody. And then... well, what then? Nothing, I suppose. Nothing...

Booooored
You know, I wish I had something to do.
Other than my responsibilities.
Or at least something exciting to write about.
Bla.

Walkin' in an Autumn Wonderland
On the way home from school today, I took out my camera and used up all the memory on the mountains and the leaves and the sky... it was lovely. I loved it. I will abstain from getting any more descriptive.

Little Kids
This makes you smile, doesn't it? You just smile when you see those happy little kids playing in the happy little pile of leaves. Little kids are just... like that. They make you smile. They're so cute and sweet and they just glow with some kind of light that the rest of us are losing. Everyone likes little kids. Why don't we try to be more like them? Why don't we laugh at things that make other people angry, and smile at old people that our peers are disgusted by? "Be as little children," Christ said. Make people smile.

We performed!
Yesterday was our first performance! It was wonderful. We had so much fun! I could say more, but I think I ought not, because I need a nap before I go perform again.
WAHOOO!
WAHOOO!

A Funny Little Story
Hey guys- did I tell you I got a new camera? It's fabulous- It's so little it fits in my back pocket, and it just runs so smoothly it makes me smile. It's quick, and it's efficient- and it's cute. I am in love.
So today I have a funny little story for ya. I was riding my bike home and talking to myself, as usual. I crossed a street and, in the little snatch of time between hitting the lowered curb and being barked at by the resident canines, I saw a flash of red on the bottom of the brownest leaf I'd ever seen. Okay, overstatement, I know, but it was one of the prettiest little things in existence. I argued with myself for a moment- "I'm gonna go get it. No I'm not," and my bike swerved a little on its homebound path. So, at the nearest driveway, I turned out into the street and rode back to my little friend the leaf. I narrated for myself, putting my bike down on the sidewalk: "I am now going to do one of the strangest things I've ever done. I am going to lay down on the ground, wiggle my legs vigorously-" (I had to pee,) "and take a picture- seemingly- of the sidewalk." I then laid down on the ground and began to wiggle my legs. Almost directly after my act began, I heard the 'snort' of a school bus, and looked up to see a nice lady peeking at me from an open window. I looked at her straight in the eyes, grinned as wide as I could, and waved. She looked a little worried.
"Are you okay?" She asked me.
I kept the expression frozen on my face and answered, "Yep." I widened the grin a little.
"Just taking pictures...?" She inquired.
I repeated the act, this time aiming my camera at the clear, blue, cloudless sky and attempting to look focused."Yep."
"...Okay," she answered, and the bus rolled forward, its confused but laughing cargo closing the window as it left.
"Bye!" I called, and turned back to the sky.
And then... I laughed.
